- Pat dry using paper towels.
- Make the marinade by stirring melted butter, lemon juice, salt, pepper and paprika together.
- Toss the shrimps with the marinade until well coated..
- You can let the shrimps marinade for an hour or cook them right away.

I use a Cosori 5.8 quart basket type and is perfect for our family! I can cook about 1lb of shrimps in one go!
How To Cook Frozen Shrimp
I always have a bag of frozen shrimps in the Air fryer because of how easy it is to cook. If you are cooking shrimp from frozen follow these tips:
- Thaw the frozen shrimp in warm water.
- Devein and peel the shrimps.
- You need to dry them thoroughly with paper towels.
- Toss them in the marinade and cook them for 8 to 10 minutes in the Air fryer.
- Serve warm.
If you're using pre-cooked thawed shrimp, follow these steps:
- Pat dry with paper towels.
- Toss shrimps in the marinade and leave it for an hour or two.
- Preheat the Air fryer. Place the marinated shrimp in the Air fryer basket.
- Cook for about 4 minutes. Since they're already cooked we just need to heat them through.
Tips to Make the Best Air Fryer Shrimp
- Make sure the shrimps are dry.
- You can line the Air fryer basket with parchment papers or brush with some cooking oil.
- Place the shrimps on a single layer on the Air fryer basket. Don't overcrowd them!
- Cook until the shrimps turn pink and plump. You can flip the shrimps and cook further for a minute or two.
- Once cooked, check seasoning. You can add more melted butter and more pepper or lemon juice.
How to Store
You can store the cooked shrimp in an air tight container in the fridge for 3 days. Reheat them in the Air fryer for 2 to 3 minutes or until warm.
