A package of toaster strudel is all you need. I buy Pillsbury toaster strudel. You can find them in the freezer section of the grocery store. You don’t need to defrost them and they can be toasted straight from frozen.

This also includes packets of sweet icing, that you can drizzle on the toaster strudel.

The Pillsbury toaster strudels come in many different flavors like:

  • strawberry
  • apple
  • blueberry
  • cherry
  • raspberry
  • wildberry
  • cinnamon roll
  • cinnamon toast crunch
  • cream cheese and strawberry

These flavors are to die for and if you find them in you grocery store don’t forget to grab some.

How to Make Air Fryer Toaster Strudel

Making toaster strudels in the air fryer couldn’t be any easier. Place frozen toaster strudels in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You can line the air fryer basket with parchment paper if needed.

I can fit 4 pastries in my 5.8 qt Cosori air fryer. If you have a smaller air fryer, place the amount that fits in yours.

Air fry toaster strudel at 350˚F for 5-7 minutes until golden brown. You can flip if you want to but I don’t because they get cooked perfectly on both sides.

*Air fryers come in different sizes and models, and you may need to adjust the cooking time accordingly.

Once cooked, remove the toaster strudels from air fryer and let it cool. Once cooled, top the pastries with the icing.

Recipe Tips

  • Place the strudels in a single layer in the air fryer. Don’t stack the strudels on top of each other as it will prevent them from cooking evenly.
  • No need for cooking spray or oil on your pastries. They have enough fat to cook to a flakey, buttery perfection.
  • Cool the toaster strudels before icing. Or else the icing will melt into the pastry. Also don’t use icing on the strudel before air frying.
