A popular snack for all ages, let's see how to make pizza rolls from frozen in the Air fryer! These crispy bites are ready in less than 10 minutes with no oil.
What Are Pizza Rolls?
Pizza rolls are crispy pillowy bites filled with pizza toppings- pizza sauce, cheese and pepperoni. They're a popular snack and appetizer loved by both kids and adults. It's no surprise because once you start eating them, it's hard to stop.
The frozen pizza rolls are so convenient to have on hand and so handy for when you want something quick. The Air fryer makes it so easy to cook frozen foods fast without any oil. I make Air Fryer Frozen Pizza, Air Fryer Frozen Burgers for quick meals, or Air Fryer French Fries, Air Fryer Frozen Sweet Potato Fries, Air Fryer Hash Browns and Air Fryer Tater Tots as side dishes.
Since the Air fryer works by circulating hot air to cook the food, the frozen pizza rolls turn out crispy on the outside with yummy melted cheese and toppings inside. No need to thaw and it gets cooked straight from frozen. As a busy mom, I can't tell you how life-saving that is!

Preheat Air fryer according to the manufacturer's instructions. Or at 400F for 3 minutes.
Place frozen pizza rolls in the Air fryer basket in a single layer.
Air fry pizza rolls at 400F for approximately 6 to 7 minutes shaking the basket halfway through until golden. Keep an eye on the 6-minute mark as the pizza rolls will start to burst open and ooze cheese out. You'll want to remove the pizza rolls from the Air fryer before it all starts exploding. You can reduce the temperature and cook for a minute or two for crispy pizza rolls.
Remove the pizza rolls from the Air fryer and let it cool for a minute or two. They'll be really hot inside.
Serve with marinara sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
Best Tips
Preheat the Air fryer. This ensures you get crispy air fryer pizza rolls. If you skip preheating, add an additional 2 to 3 minutes to your cooking time.
Cook in batches. I use half the bag of pizza rolls in my 5.8 quart Air fryer so they cook evenly. Then cook the other half. Unless you have a large Air fryer that would fit in the entire bag of pizza rolls, avoid stacking them high preventing proper airflow. Try to place them on a single layer.
Cool them down. The filling inside will be really hot when you remove them from the Air fryer. Let pizza rolls cool for a minute or two before eating.
How To Store
Store leftover pizza rolls, in an airtight container and keep them in the fridge for 3 days. Don't freeze the cooked pizza rolls.
Reheating Pizza Rolls In Air Fryer
Pizza rolls will taste fresh and crispy if you reheat them in the air fryer. No more soggy and limp microwave pizza rolls!
Preheat air fryer to 400F. Place the pizza rolls in the Air fryer and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until they are warm and crispy.
How long do you cook pizza rolls in the Air fryer?
Cooking frozen pizza rolls couldn't be any easier. Air fry them at 400F for 6 to 7 minutes. Check at the 6-minute mark as they start to explode. You can reduce the temperature and cook for an additional minute or two for crispy pizza rolls.
Do you flip pizza rolls?
No, you don't need to flip them. Make sure you place the pizza rolls in a single layer and there's enough space for the hot air to circulate. It will brown on both sides.
How do you keep pizza rolls from exploding in air fryer?
Keep an eye on them at the 6-minute mark. Reduce the temperature to 380F and cook until golden. If they're exploding that means they're cooked through and can be removed.
