Pizza Rolls in Air Fryer From Scratch!

Pizza rolls in the Air Fryer made from scratch with an easy homemade dough! Fill with your favorite pizza toppings and cheese for a perfect snack.

Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Ingredients
 

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp cold butter chopped
  • 1 cup unsweetened or Greek yogurt
  • cup seasoned pizza sauce
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese

Pizza toppings

  • ½ red onion sliced
  • 2 ½ oz pepperoni chopped
  • 2 ½ oz roasted red peppers sliced
  • cup olives sliced

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, add the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and give it a good stir.
  • Mix in the chopped cold butter to the dry ingredients with your fingers.
  • Add the yogurt little by little and mix until you get a soft sticky dough. Knead lightly until smooth.
  • Roll out the dough on a floured surface into about 10"x15" inch rectangle. Place the the rolled on a plastic wrap.
  • Spread the pizza sauce on top and layer it with toppings-pepperoni, onions, red peppers, olives and cheese.
  • Roll the dough up tightly, cover it with a plastic wrap and freeze it for 15 minutes.
  • Preheat the Air fryer for 5 minutes. Cut the dough into 12 slices, trimming off the ends.
  • Place the cut side up on the air fryer basket. Cover it with foil and bake at 350F for 20 minutes or until the rolls are baked and golden.
  • Remove the foil and sprinkle more cheese on top and bake for another 5 minutes.

Notes

  • Storage - store the pizza rolls in the fridge, covered for 3 days.
  • Freeze - pizza rolls can be frozen in a zip lock bag in the freezer for 3 months. 
  • Reheat - in the microwave or in the Air fryer at 320F for 5 minutes.
