Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • 1½ tbsp honey
  • 2 tsp hot sauce
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ¾ cup almonds
  • 1 cup cashews
  • ½ cup pumpkin seeds
  • ¼ cup sunflower seeds

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix oil, honey, hot sauce, paprika and salt until well mixed.
  • Add the nuts and seeds to a large mixing bowl. Pour the dressing over the nuts and mix until all the nuts and seeds are well coated.
  • Line the basket of your Air fryer with parchment paper. Transfer the nuts to the basket and place in a single layer.
  • Air fry at 300℉ for 10 minutes, stirring in between until the nuts are roasted.
  • Remove the Air fryer basket. Transfer the nuts to a plate and let it cool. Break the nuts into clusters.
  • Store in an air tight container. Makes 2 ½ to 3 cups.

Notes

  • Nuts roast fast and since there are so many Air fryer models and sizes, it's better to keep an eye on the time. Check whether the nuts are roasted at 7 minute mark and increase the cook time by 1 or 2 minutes.
  • Storage - Keep it at room temperature in an air tight container up to a week.
  • Variations -
    • Use more hot sauce or paprika to increase the heat.
    • Switch up the nuts with pecans, walnuts or peanuts.
    • Add raisins for a trail mix.
