Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • ½ cup ready-made salsa
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning

Instructions

  • Heat a pan over medium heat and cook the ground turkey until it’s no longer pink. Use a meat chopper or spoon to break down any larger pieces.
  • Add the oil and taco seasoning, and cook until the turkey is fully coated and cooked through.
  • Pour the salsa over the turkey and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. You can leave it slightly wet or cook a bit longer until the liquid reduces but the turkey remains moist, not dry.
  • Adjust seasoning and add salt or more taco seasoning if necessary.
