Instructions
Season the chicken cubes with salt, black pepper, paprika, and red chili flakes.
Bring a large pot of water to boil. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions. Reserve some pasta water. Drain pasta and set aside
Heat oil in a large skillet and cook the chicken until just done.
Remove the chicken from the pan and add butter. When the butter is melted add chopped onions and minced garlic. Cook until the raw smell disappears.
Add the chopped sundried tomatoes and chicken and cook for an additional minute.
Pour in chicken stock, and heavy cream and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and red pepper flakes.
Bring the sauce to a boil on medium-high heat and let it simmer for a minute or two. The liquid quantity might seem a lot but they do get soaked up by the pasta.
Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes allowing the flavors to meld. Taste and adjust seasoning.
Serve immediately garnished with chopped fresh basil leaves and a sprinkling of grated parmesan cheese if you prefer.
