  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1 tbsp sugar or to taste

For restaurant quality mango lassi

  • Combine the ingredients for making lassi with mango chunks in the blender along with 1/4 cup mango pulp.
1½ cup mango chunks* 1 cup yogurt, ½ cup milk, 1 tbsp sugar, ¼ tsp cardamom powder
  • Serve chilled. Garnish with a few saffron strands, pistachios or even mango cubes.

Notes

*Frozen mango that comes in a bag works well too. Thaw the frozen mangoes slightly to make it easier to blend.
Add some ice cubes when blending to make it chilled.

  • Taste best fresh. Store leftovers in a jar with a lid for 2 days in the fridge. Stir or shake before serving.
