Ingredients
 

  • 1 French baguette
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • Kosher salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350˚F.
  • Slice the bread into 1/2-inch thin slices, using a serrated knife.
  • Spread the bread slices in a single layer on a baking sheet. Brush the slices of bread with olive oil on both sides. Sprinkle with salt.
  • Bake for 7 to 8 minutes. Flip and bake for another 5 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Keep an eye so they won't burn.
  • Remove from the baking sheet and let it cool before serving.
  • Serve the crostini with toppings, spreads or dips.

Notes

Crostini Toppings -
  • Tomato and mozzarella cheese
  • Pesto
  • Prosciutto and arugula
  • Tuna salad and pickles
  • Roasted vegetables and goat cheese
  • Hummus and veggies
  • Smoked salmon and cream cheese
  • Brie and honey.
 
Store - in an airtight container at room temperature for 2 to 3 days. Reheat them in the oven if desired.
