Homemade Chai Masala Powder

5 g, preferably Ceylon cinnamon

black pepper
▢

tsp
fennel seeds

tsp
nutmeg

Instructions
Add all the ingredients to a spice grinder and grind until they become a fine powder.
Store in an airtight jar.
Notes
I use Ceylon cinnamon as it's the original and easier to crumble. Or use ground cinnamon.
For the best aroma and flavor, grind fresh spices instead of using pre-ground ones (except ground ginger, of course!).
This chai spice mix will keep fresh in an airtight jar for up to 3 months.
Make sure you keep your spices in a cool dark place, away from sunlight to extend shelf life.
