Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • 8 oz shishito peppers
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt

Garlic Aioli

  • cup mayonnaise
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat Air Fryer at 380˚F for 3 minutes.
  • Rinse and dry the peppers if you prefer.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Mix until the peppers are well coated with oil.
  • Place the peppers in the Air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Air fry at 380˚F for 6-8 minutes until they get blistered and charred, shaking the basket halfway through. You might find one or two peppers popping. If that happens, remove the Air fryer basket and give it a good shake.
  • Transfer the air-fried peppers to a plate and serve with garlic aioli.

For the Garlic Aioli

  • In a small bowl, mix all the ingredients together until combined.

Notes

  • Once cooled, store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3 to 4 days.
  • Reheat in the Air fryer at 375˚F for a few minutes until warm.
