Preheat Air Fryer at 375˚F for 5 minutes. Cut the bread slices into 3 or 4 sticks.
In a shallow bowl, add eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Whisk until combined.
Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper liner. Dip a piece of bread in the egg mixture and carefully place it in the air fryer basket. Make sure the bread is fully covered in the French toast mixture. Place as many sticks as your air fryer will hold leaving enough space between them.
Air fry at 375˚F for 7 to 8 minutes or until they're golden.
Remove from the air fryer and serve warm with maple syrup or honey and your choice of fresh fruits.
Notes
Once cooled, store leftover French toast in an airtight container in the fridge. It will last for 3 to 5 days.
To freeze, place the cooked French toast sticks on a lined baking sheet and freeze. Once frozen, transfer to a freezer bag and store in the freezer up to 3 months.
To reheat French toast sticks, place them in the air fryer and reheat them at 375˚F for a few minutes until warm through.
