With crispy edges and chewy, gooey center these are the best Air fryer chocolate chip cookies hands down! You can make a small batch for one or the entire family in the Air fryer!
Add softened butter, brown sugar and caster sugar in a large mixing bowl. Beat using an electric beater until pale and smooth.
Add egg and vanilla extract and beat until combined, scraping the sides of the bowl.
Add flour and baking soda and beat until a dough forms. You may have to stir with a spatula for all the flour to mix. Stir in the chocolate chips.
Line the Air fryer basket with parchment paper.
Scoop out the dough, about 1 tablespoon each into small balls and flatten it between your palms and place it on the Air fryer basket. Place as many cookie dough you can fit in leaving room for the cookies to spread. I can place 5 cookies on my Air fryer basket.
Bake for 6 to 8 minutes or until golden brown on the edges. Mine took 8 minutes. The center might look like it's not baked fully. But it will continues to harden as it cools down.
Remove from the basket and transfer to wire rack. Press more chocolate chips on top of the cookies while still warm. Sprinkle with sea salt.
If you're baking more cookies, place the next batch in the basket and bake.
