Blistered Air Fryer Shishito Peppers has a smokey, sweet, mild flavor and so irresistible. With only 3 ingredients, they're super fast and easy to make. Pair them with garlic aioli for a delicious appetizer or snack.
Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Mix until the peppers are well coated with oil.
Place the peppers in the Air fryer basket in a single layer.
Air fry at 380˚F for 6-8 minutes until they get blistered and charred, shaking the basket halfway through. You might find one or two peppers popping. If that happens, remove the Air fryer basket and give it a good shake.
Transfer the air-fried peppers to a plate and serve with garlic aioli.
For the Garlic Aioli
In a small bowl, mix all the ingredients together until combined.
Notes
Once cooled, store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3 to 4 days.
Reheat in the Air fryer at 375˚F for a few minutes until warm.
