Crispy and delicious Air Fryer Chicken Wings Dry Rub are marinated in a dry rub of spices and then cooked in the air fryer for about 20 minutes. They are sweet, spicy and smokey. They're so good, you’ll definitely want to make them again and again!

Ingredients
 

  • 8 whole chicken wings around 1 pound
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper/red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

Instructions
 

  • Separate the chicken wings and pat dry.
  • Mix the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper,salt, black pepper and brown sugar in a small bowl.
  • Place the chicken pieces in a large bowl and sprinkle with the seasoning. Toss to coat.
  • Preheat the Air fryer at 390F for 5 minutes.
  • Place the chicken wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You can use parchment or foil under the wings for easy clean-up. Make sure you leave space on the sides for airflow.
  • Air fry wings for 10 minutes. Flip the chicken pieces and cook for another 5-8 minutes until golden and crispy. The internal temperature should be 165F when checked using a meat thermometer.
  • Remove from the air fryer and serve.
